Dianne G. Chase was born on July 6, 1946 to the late Marcus and Doris (Burke) Mullins.
Dianne grew up in Cambridge and was educated in the Cambridge school system. She went on to attend Cambridge High and Latin School and graduated in 1964.
Dianne met and married her husband, Paul J. Chase in 1967 and together raised a family that included more than 17 foster children.
She held various jobs over the years, but none brought her as much joy as owning her own business. Lady Di Fabric and Yarn was a life-long dream of hers which she happily operated from 1984 to 1989. Her beautiful knit creations were a joy to family and friends.
Dianne was a life-long member of St. Paul AME Church and her devotion to her church family and Pastor was a phenomenon to witness. She was the Office Manager for over a decade and a half and served in many other capacities within the church.*
Lady Di, Sister Dianne, Sister Chase, Diazzie Lou, Ma, Nanna, Nunna was known by many names, but no matter what name you chose to call her, she always answered. She was known for her selflessness, her service to God and to anyone in need.

Milliken and Kendelle Chase-Williams; her grandson, Aaron Jerome Chase; her great-granddaughter, Noelle Disaya Mary Welch; her brother, Dr. Richard T. Mullins and sister, Lillian Moore.
