And given us a very special leader who we pray will continue to lean on the Lord for wisdom, understanding and guidance
.
Please join us in keeping
President-Elect Barack Obama
and his family and advisors in continuous prayer
—Pastor and Sis. Attles

The Evangelism Ministry is one of Reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-21), Repentance leading to forgiveness of sin (Ezekiel 33:10-16) (Luke 13: 1-8) through Confession and Faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10: 9-13) (1 John 1:9) also that we may know skillful and Godly wisdom, knowledge and instruction and all truth that we can from the teachings of God's word by the power of the Holy Spirit in us. We will encourage one another also by using comparative translations like the Amplified/NIV/and message bibles as reference but mainly the KJV.
The Scripture (Memory) Verse
Now, Lord God, please keep Your promise to David my father, for you have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth!" 2 Chronicles 1:9 (NLT)

Inauguration Day Inquiry

Pastor and the Social Action Committee are exploring possibilities for St. Paul members to travel together by bus to the January 20, 2009 Presidential Inauguration. If you are interested, please complete the INQUIRY CARD bulletin insert and place it in today's special basket. If the trip is possible, please be realistic concerning your ability to travel with a group given the following likely constraints:
• Bus transportation costs;
• 24-36 hours turnaround to/from Washington, DC;
• Non-negotiable departure times;
• Considerable walking, standing and limited rest areas;
• Unpredictable weather;
• Restricted view-areas (probably large-screen view-areas only).

FREE FLU CLINICS : The Cambridge Public Health Department will conduct 15 free flu clinics this fall. For more information, please contact the office.

2ND Annual Coat Drive : Pastor asks all St. Paul members to set aside their gently worn or new coats in preparation for the 2008 Coat Drive. Last year's effort was a blessing to all. So, please see today's insert and plan on participating fully.

Website Shortcuts : are now available for navigating directly to specific webpages on our site.
To use a shortcut, just append a slash (/) and the desired webpage nickname to the st-paul-ame.org site address.
For example, to go directly to the Events & Announcements page, one would use the form: st-paul-ame.org/events.
Following is a list of currently available webpage nicknames:
welcome worship events clc history lectures contact
church sermon week ministries milestones newsletter directions
These shortcuts can be particularly handy when directing e-mail recipients to a particular webpage on our site. When doing so it's usually best to prefix our web address with "www." — e.g., one might include a phrase like, “You can view upcoming events here: www.st-paul-ame.org/events.” Most e-mail software will automatically convert "www.st-paul-ame.org/events" into an active link.
